Workforce 2030

Monday 3:15 – 4:15 PM

Session Description

Workforce 2030: Are You Ready?

Until very recently, employment discussions centered around preparing for the workforce of 2020. But now that the year 2020 is in the rearview mirror, it’s time for senior leaders to start preparing for the workforce of the next decade. More so than any group before it, the 2030 workforce will be shaped by technological innovation, demographic shifts, and the long-term effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. To achieve success, companies must plan for current (and continued) workforce disrupters; those that fail to do so jeopardize their very existence.

In this popular keynote program, Val reviews critical population and employment data, unpacks looming technology trends, and examines other issues that will shape the 2030 workforce. Going beyond the numbers, she maps out how leaders can combine this information with key leadership skills in order to engage their current workforce and motivate them to up their game.
