The Implicit Bias Audit: Create Your Roadmap for Mitigating Risk Related to Implicit Bias

Wednesday 10:45 – 11:45 AM

Session Description

Today more than ever before we are looking within ourselves and our organizations to identify previously hidden biases so that we can create equitable environments for our communities and colleagues. The Implicit Bias Audit aims to move these efforts forward in the workplace by allowing us to measure attitudes and beliefs that people may be unwilling or unable to report by quantifying hidden organizational biases. More than ever before we are looking within ourselves and our organizations to identify biases so we can create equitable environments for our communities and colleagues. The Implicit Bias Audit helps move these efforts forward by allowing us to measure attitudes and beliefs that people may be unwilling or unable to report by quantifying hidden organizational biases. The data on these existing biases is broken down by demographics, position titles, and locations. These insights are then used to develop and implement a targeted Diversity & Inclusion training program to help eliminate bias, creating a culture that is built around fair hiring and promotion practices, mutual respect, and leveling the playing field.
